Kurt Killed Kurt Original Spray Painting 23" x 29.5"

I first had the idea to do this piece in 2021 but I wanted to wait until I felt my skills were at a level where I could do it justice. The Kurt Cobain Suicide saga has been going on since 1994 with much speculation & that is something I wanted to tap into with this piece. 

The background is created from a collage made from custom $100 bills with Kurt's face on them including hidden messages on the notes for all you eagle eyed people. The main focus of this piece is a semi transparent portrait of Courtney Love looking away from the picture ignoring what is going on behind her.

The main painting consists of 7 layers of hand cut stencil sprayed onto the collage
