Today marks 50 years since David Bowie released "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars"

I haven't done a Bowie piece for a while so it seamed fitting that I started one as you never need an excuse to do a new piece of this legend! But then i coincidentally found out that the 50th anniversary of this masterpiece album was only days away & I was painting Bowie as Ziggy...... Weird!

This Mixed Media piece is 18 layers of hand cut stencil painted onto a collaged background of printed copies of hand written song lyrics & news paper headlines, all inside a 29" x 36" Frame that is ready to hang
