Jean-Michel Basquiat (100cm x 100cm) Mixed Media Painting

Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of my favourite artists that has ever lived. in 2023 i created this 100cm x 100cm painting to pay tribute to him but more importantly add my own spin onto things because lets face it why copy exactly what Basquiat did? 

My main aim on this piece was to have a sharp crisp pattern juxtaposed with absolute chaos & make it all come to life with a big portrait of Jean-Michel to tie it all together. 

This could be my favourite piece i have created from stretching the canvas & then letting all the chaos unfold!
